Overview
In this role you will support data analytics and pricing methodology within L&H, strengthening governance and consistency across pricing processes. You will build and sustain governance for costing tools and promote scalable, transparent pricing practices. You will partner with regional teams to balance global standards with local needs and contribute to pricing, underwriting and risk governance improvements. You will apply R or similar programming skills to develop costing solutions and help improve data quality and pricing data requirements. You will work with cross-functional teams to share information and drive pricing excellence.

Responsibilities
- Strengthen origination pricing rigor through governance, process execution and review frameworks
- Build and maintain governance for costing tools and best practices across local, regional and global requirements
- Support continuous improvement of pricing methodologies, operating models and controls for effectiveness and scalability
- Collaborate with regional costing teams to adopt globally consistent practices while balancing local needs
- Improve operational resilience, process adherence, documentation quality, and audit readiness in pricing activities
- Collaborate with underwriting, valuation, risk and business management to strengthen business steering
- Develop costing tool solutions using programming skills (R or similar)
- Maintain pricing data requirements and engage with wider teams to improve data landscape and quality
- Foster information sharing across the L&H community
Key requirements
- Qualified or nearly qualified actuary with Life & Health insurance or reinsurance experience
- Strong understanding of L&H pricing, underwriting, risk management or actuarial frameworks
- Experience developing and implementing actuarial methodologies, governance frameworks, and process improvements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- Proficiency in MS Office; advanced coding skills in R and VBA
- Agile, independent, able to navigate ambiguity and balance risk controls with commercial considerations
