About The Role

As a Data & Process Specialist, you will be playing a key role in shaping and strengthening the L&H business architecture. This role has a strong focus on enabling end-to-end clarity, consistency, and measurable business impact. You will contribute to building a robust architectural foundation for how we manage value journeys and processes, govern decision-making, and leverage data to deliver L&H business priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the implementation, application and continuous enhancement of operating and governance frameworks across data, process and broader business architecture, ensuring alignment with the L&H business and operating vision and translating concepts into practical outcomes.
  • Ensure close alignment across architectural principles to embed a robust business architecture within end-to-end L&H operations. Contribute to various business architecture artifacts, including capability maps, value journeys, operating model views and ownership structures.
  • Partner closely with L&H business stakeholders and IT to strengthen ownership and accountability – contribute to definition of ownership across capabilities, processes, data, and metrics by gathering inputs, mapping responsibilities, and highlighting inconsistencies to ensure effective applications.
  • Lead selective data initiatives such as the data issue workstream, data quality monitoring capabilities enhancement, robust access rights management, and training and awareness campaigns to promote data governance frameworks.
  • Establish and uphold capability and process management disciplines, including value journey prioritisation, process mapping, modelling and analysis as well as standardized documentation practices and standards.
  • Analyse end-to-end value journeys to identify gaps in processes, data, ownership, and handoffs and document insights to support decision-making and prioritisation.

About The Team

The Data and Operational Excellence team is a dynamic group of specialists dedicated to driving improvement in the end-to-end operational effectiveness of L&H Re across global markets. We champion data-driven decision making and process optimization to support our business growth. Working here means joining a collaborative environment where your expertise directly contributes to the foundation of our data-driven decision making and operational strategy.

About You

You are a self-starter who thrives in a dynamic and evolving team environment. You can connect the dots across functions and topics, and effectively influence stakeholders across the organisation. You take a pragmatic approach by balancing framework design and bringing frameworks to life and delivering tangible business impact.

We Are Looking For Candidates Who Meet These Requirements

  • Strong expertise in business architecture, data and/or process management with experience in developing business architecture frameworks or artifacts (e.g. capability maps, value streams/value journeys, operating and ownership models).
  • Background in Life & Health (re)-insurance preferred.
  • Able to connect process, data and metric insights across architectural frameworks with a structured and end-to-end mindset.
  • Ability to translate and implement architectural practices in line with business needs and impact.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with business stakeholders and IT, building strong relationships and support alignment.
  • Experience in project management and change management a plus.
  • Work effectively in an evolving environment where roles, frameworks, and priorities are still being shaped.
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn across multiple domains (process, data, governance) and build a holistic understanding of how L&H operates.
