Location: Tamworth

Hours of Work: 42 hours continental day and night shift pattern

Role Responsibilities:

  • Repair all faults arising on any plant or equipment on site.
  • Respond to breakdowns as quickly and efficiently as possible.
  • In the event of multiple breakdowns, consult with management in order to prioritise.
  • Carry out planned maintenance and installation work as and when required.
  • Be responsible for the quality and safety of the work that you carry out in accordance with current legislation.
  • Log all relevant information and data in the CMMS system.
  • Carry tasks out to a high degree of workmanship in an environment which strives for continuous improvement.
  • Report and order, when needed, spare and critical parts.
  • Keep the workshop and stores clean, tidy, and safe at all times.
  • Be responsible for your own safety by performing tasks in a safe and timely manner in accordance with Company Health and Safety Rules and Working Practices.

Role Requirements:

  • Proven experience in maintenance engineering or a similar technical role.
  • Competency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Familiarity with planned preventive maintenance processes.
  • Ability to use and update CMMS or other maintenance tracking systems.
  • Understanding of relevant health and safety legislation.
  • Flexible to respond to out-of-hours issues when required.
