Hours of Work: 42 hours continental day and night shift pattern
Role Responsibilities:
- Repair all faults arising on any plant or equipment on site.
- Respond to breakdowns as quickly and efficiently as possible.
- In the event of multiple breakdowns, consult with management in order to prioritise.
- Carry out planned maintenance and installation work as and when required.
- Be responsible for the quality and safety of the work that you carry out in accordance with current legislation.
- Log all relevant information and data in the CMMS system.
- Carry tasks out to a high degree of workmanship in an environment which strives for continuous improvement.
- Report and order, when needed, spare and critical parts.
- Keep the workshop and stores clean, tidy, and safe at all times.
- Be responsible for your own safety by performing tasks in a safe and timely manner in accordance with Company Health and Safety Rules and Working Practices.
Role Requirements:
- Proven experience in maintenance engineering or a similar technical role.
- Competency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical systems.
- Familiarity with planned preventive maintenance processes.
- Ability to use and update CMMS or other maintenance tracking systems.
- Understanding of relevant health and safety legislation.
- Flexible to respond to out-of-hours issues when required.
