We are seeking an Electron Beam (EB) Welding Technician to produce high-quality precision welds using advanced EB welding equipment. You will work to engineering drawings and strict quality standards, supporting the manufacture of high-value components in a controlled environment.
Location: Wrexham
Schedule: Mon-Thu 08:00-16:45 | Fri 08:00-14:00
Pay: £27,300

Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and monitor EB welding machines (high/low vacuum)
- Prepare and align components; select and adjust welding parameters
- Perform welds in line with SOPs, drawings, and quality requirements
- Complete production and quality documentation accurately
- Inspect weld quality and report any defects or deviations
- Carry out routine machine maintenance and follow all safety procedures
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Experience in precision welding (EB, laser, or similar)
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Comfortable working to SOPs with full traceability
Desirable:
- EB welding certification or formal training
- Experience with automated welding systems
