We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hands-on Site Maintenance Operative to support the day-to-day upkeep of our clients facility in Knowsley. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys keeping environments safe, clean, and well maintained.
The Role
You will be responsible for general site maintenance, ensuring the building and surrounding areas remain in good condition. Duties will include:
- Carrying out interior and exterior painting as required
- Completing minor repairs and touch-ups to walls, floors, doors, and surfaces
- Conducting regular inspections to identify maintenance needs
- Maintaining cleanliness of workspaces, communal areas, and outdoor spaces
- Removing waste and debris to keep areas tidy and organised
- Using tools and equipment safely, ensuring they are properly maintained
- Following all health and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment
- Reporting hazards, defects, or repair requirements promptly
- Monitoring stock levels of cleaning and maintenance supplies and assisting with reordering
- Keeping basic records of completed tasks and work orders
About You
- Previous experience in facilities and building maintenance
- Basic knowledge of painting, cleaning, and minor repairs
- Confident using hand and power tools safely
- Physically fit and able to carry out manual tasks
