We are seeking a material sampler & weighbridge operator to join the waste disposal team at the waste transfer station. The role involves carrying out sampling of recycling materials and operating the weighbridge, ensuring compliance with our Environmental Permit. You will be an integral part of Team SWISCo, responsible for sampling, collating data, and operating the weighbridge to capture accurate weights, vehicle and waste type information.
Key Duties
- Ensuring the material sampling is undertaken in accordance with legislation
- Preparing Environment Agency Quarterly Returns
- Weighing internal and external vehicles as part of weighbridge operations
- Ensuring compliance documentation is completed correctly
