As an HR Business Partner, you’ll combine strategic thinking with hands-on operational execution. You’ll act as a trusted advisor to managers, drive people initiatives, and ensure that our employees experience a consistent, compliant, and supportive HR service throughout the full employee lifecycle.
In this role, you will:
- Partner & Advise
- Act as a trusted advisor across the business.
- Translate business needs into actionable people priorities and initiatives.
- Support managers on performance, team development, leadership, and engagement.
- Support and Drive HR Processes & Development
- Manage recruitment and onboarding for office employees, ensuring a smooth experience.
- Handle employment lifecycle activities such as onboarding, contract changes, terminations, and offboarding for all staff.
- Provide day-to-day HR support to employees and leaders.
- Give clear and compliant guidance on HR policies, employee relations, and labour law, and ensure alignment with legislation, union agreements, and company policies.
- Drive HR Improvements
- Contribute to and lead engagement, retention, and culture-building initiatives.
- Contribute to projects that enhance HR systems, tools, and data quality.
- Maintain accurate employee data and ensure efficient HR operations.
Experience & Qualifications
- A strong communicator who builds trust and collaborates effectively at all levels.
- Pragmatic, structured, and able to juggle multiple priorities with ease.
- Confident in balancing strategic thinking with hands-on HR delivery.
- Service-minded, solution-focused, and committed to high-quality results.
- Independent, responsible, and comfortable owning tasks from start to finish.
- Experience in HR operations and advisory roles, ideally supporting a diverse employee base.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
