Job Specification:
The Commercial Manager is responsible for establishing and expanding SRE’s market presence in regional markets. This is a key role aimed at launching the company's services, identifying business opportunities, and building a robust customer and partner base. The role involves managing the sales pipeline, handling key accounts, and collaborating closely with internal teams to ensure customer needs are met and exceeded where possible.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, ensuring customer needs are anticipated, met, and exceeded where possible. Manage customer interactions, addressing issues and tracking progress to enhance satisfaction and retention.
- Business Development & Sales: Identify and pursue growth opportunities with both existing and potential customers. Manage the sales process, including cost analysis, pricing proposals, and closing deals according to the company’s sales processes. Develop a robust sales pipeline, achieving sales targets, and reporting on progress to senior management.
- Strategic Planning & Market Insights: Contribute to the development of sales strategies and tactics for market growth, aligning with overall commercial goals. Stay updated on market trends, competition, and regulatory changes, using insights to inform strategic decisions.
- Cross‑functional Collaboration: Coordinate with Operations, Marketing, and other internal teams to align sales activities and ensure resources are managed efficiently. Support marketing initiatives, including attending industry events and participating in targeted networking efforts. Manage tender responses and customer contracts, ensuring alignment with customer needs and company policies.
- CRM & Reporting: Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date customer information in the CRM system. Provide reports on sales performance, forecasts, and progress toward KPIs to senior leadership.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Experience in the wind industry, renewable energy sector, or a related field is an advantage.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office and experience working with CRM/ERP systems.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- Customer‑Centric Approach: Ability to anticipate, meet, and exceed customer needs, building long‑term relationships.
- Sales‑Driven: A strong focus on identifying and growing business opportunities, with the ability to achieve commercial objectives.
