Our client is looking for a proactive and experienced Assistant Centre Manager to support the daily running of a reputable, fast-growing automotive workshop. The Role
- Supporting the Centre Manager with daily operations and workload planning
- Supervising workshop staff and ensuring work is completed to high standards
- Providing technical support and guidance to technicians where required
- Ensuring excellent customer service and handling customer queries
- Managing job cards, paperwork, and service documentation accurately
- Overseeing health & safety standards and ensuring compliance
- Assisting with stock control, ordering parts, and maintaining equipment
- Helping to drive productivity, efficiency, and customer satisfaction
You’ll play a key role in maintaining a smooth, efficient workshop while upholding the company’s quality and safety standards.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in an automotive workshop environment
- Previous supervisory or senior technician experience preferred
- Strong technical knowledge and the ability to support workshop staff
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- A customer-focused approach and positive attitude
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate a team
- A full UK driving licence
- Level 2 or Level 3 automotive qualification required (or equivalent)
