Salary: £29,000 - £36,000 (Depending on Experience) + Monthly Bonus Scheme

Hours: Mon-Fri 8:00am-5:30pm | Sat 8:00am-1:00pm | Sun & Bank Holidays Closed

Our client is looking for a proactive and experienced Assistant Centre Manager to support the daily running of a reputable, fast-growing automotive workshop. If you're confident in managing workflow, supporting technicians, and delivering outstanding customer service, this is a fantastic opportunity to take the next step in your management career.

The Role

  • Supporting the Centre Manager with daily operations and workload planning
  • Supervising workshop staff and ensuring work is completed to high standards
  • Providing technical support and guidance to technicians where required
  • Ensuring excellent customer service and handling customer queries
  • Managing job cards, paperwork, and service documentation accurately
  • Overseeing health & safety standards and ensuring compliance
  • Assisting with stock control, ordering parts, and maintaining equipment
  • Helping to drive productivity, efficiency, and customer satisfaction

You’ll play a key role in maintaining a smooth, efficient workshop while upholding the company’s quality and safety standards.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in an automotive workshop environment
  • Previous supervisory or senior technician experience preferred
  • Strong technical knowledge and the ability to support workshop staff
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • A customer-focused approach and positive attitude
  • Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate a team
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Level 2 or Level 3 automotive qualification preferred (or equivalent)
