Job Description:
We are looking for an experiencedField-Based Engineer (garage equipment)to support our service team. You will be responsible for travelling to client sites to install, maintain, and repair vehicle ramps/lifts, ensuring they remain safe, compliant, and fully operational.
Location:Croydon & surrounding areas
Salary:£28,000 £40,000 basic + optional overtime (potentially up to an additional £10,000 p.a.)

As aField Service Engineer, youll be home-based and responsible for theservice, repair, and maintenanceof commercial brake testers and other electro-mechanical garage equipment. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated engineer to join a supportive and growing business.
Key Responsibilities
- Service and repair a range of products, specializing in commercial brake testers.
- Maintain and repair other garage equipment (vehicle lifts, wheel & tyre, gas analysers, smoke testers, etc).
- Accurately complete all paperwork while complying with health & safety regulations.
- Manage van stock effectively to achieve first-time fix targets.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and exceed expectations.
- Be open to occasional overnight stays and paid overtime when required.
- Continue developing your skills through ongoing training
About You
- Ideally experienced with vehicle brake testing systems and technology.
- OR qualified in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or electrical equipment (garage equipment experience preferred).
- Comfortable with PCs and networking.
- Proven experience in a field service environment.
- Self-motivated with a customer-focused, can do attitude.
- Full clean UK driving licence essential.
