Our client is a well-established family-owned independent automotive business in Avonmouth , Bristol, with a fantastic reputation for customer service and a loyal customer base built over many years.
Following their move to a modern, fully equipped facility, they are looking for a Service Advisor to join their established team.
And here's the important part...
You don't necessarily need previous automotive experience.
What matters most? Our client is looking for the right person , not simply the right CV.
You could currently be working in:
A builder's merchant
A vehicle parts or motor factor business
A trade counter
A customer service environment
Equipment hire
Engineering or technical services
A dealership or automotive business
Any service-led industry where customer experience really matters
If you're friendly, respectful, organised, good with people, confident using IT and genuinely keen to learn , our client is prepared to teach you the automotive side of the role.
What will you be doing? You'll become an important part of the customer journey, dealing with customers from booking through to completion of their vehicle's work.
Your responsibilities will include:
Welcoming and communicating with customers
Booking vehicles into the workshop
Understanding customer requirements
Liaising with technicians and the workshop team
Keeping customers updated throughout the repair process
Discussing work and recommendations with customers
Preparing estimates and invoices
Managing bookings and workshop schedules
Providing a consistently high level of customer service
Using IT systems to manage customer and vehicle information

What's on offer? £32,000 – £35,000 depending on experience
Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm
No weekend working
Salary review following successful completion of the 3-month probationary period
