Working 48 hours per week, working 5 days over 7.

The Role
As Breakfast Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and delivering a variety of high‑quality breakfast dishes, ensuring every guest enjoys an outstanding start to their day.
Working independently during the morning service while remaining closely connected to the wider kitchen brigade, you will take pride in producing beautifully presented dishes using the freshest seasonal ingredients available.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook breakfast dishes to the highest standards, ensuring consistency, quality, and exceptional presentation.
- Deliver a smooth and efficient breakfast service while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
- Execute breakfast menus developed by the culinary team, showcasing fresh, seasonal, and locally sourced ingredients.
- Support the Estate to Plate philosophy by working with produce from the Walled Garden and ingredients sourced from across the estate and local area.
- Maintain high culinary standards in line with the Head Chef's expectations.
- Kitchen Operations
- Support the achievement of food cost targets, kitchen standards, and operational objectives.
- Demonstrate an understanding of menu planning, stock control, stock rotation, and waste management.
- Complete daily and weekly procedures, including temperature checks, food labelling, dating, and storage.
- Assist with the receipt and storage of deliveries in accordance with company procedures.
- Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness and organisation throughout the kitchen.
- Teamwork & Communication
- Maintain a positive, professional, and approachable attitude at all times.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and front of house teams to deliver outstanding guest experiences.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and management at all levels.
- Attend training and development opportunities as required.
- Undertake additional duties and responsibilities as reasonably requested by senior chefs.
- Health, Safety & Hygiene
- Adhere to all food hygiene, health and safety, and company procedures.
- Ensure all food safety records and documentation are completed accurately.
- Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness across your section and the wider kitchen.
- Identify and report hazards, defects, or equipment issues promptly.
- Follow all emergency procedures, including fire safety protocols.
- Maintain the highest standards of personal hygiene, appearance, and professional conduct.
