Terrace Sous Chef
Full Time – 48 hours per week, 5 days over 7. Salary up to £37,000 per annum, plus tronc.
The Role
We are looking for a creative and passionate Sous Chef who is keen to develop and learn new skills, reliable and respectful. This exciting opportunity is to work with our dedicated Terrace Kitchen team to ensure all guests to The Terrace Restaurant are offered an incredible and unforgettable dining experience.
The Terrace Restaurant combines traditional British cooking with our estate‑to‑plate ethos. Our menus emphasise seasonal and local produce inspired by the fruit, vegetables and herbs grown in the hotel\’s four‑acre walled garden.
Who We Are
Swinton Estate is situated in the Yorkshire Dales and is one of the largest privately owned estates in England. It includes Swinton Park, a luxury traditional castle hotel with 42 bedrooms, three holiday cottages and award‑winning Samuel’s Restaurant; a luxurious country club and spa including the contemporary Terrace Restaurant; Swinton Bivouac a glamping site with tree lodges, yurts and café, and a cookery school.
