Full Time - 40 hours per week, 5 days over 7. Salary of £26,437 per annum, plus monthly TRONC. Live-in staff accommodation may be available (subject to availability).

The Role: We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Junior Sommelier to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the early stages of their wine career to develop their skills in a supportive, fast-paced environment.

Main responsibilities to include:

  • Having an extensive knowledge of the wine menus and able to discuss in depth with guests.
  • Presenting, opening and pouring wine to a high standard along with other beverages.
  • Assisting the front of house team with food service, when necessary.
  • Ensuring team members have knowledge of the wine menus by training.
  • Managing wine stock, ensuring levels are maintained and refilled.

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Previous experience within a 5* dining establishment.
  • WSET Level 2 or above.
  • A passion for fine dining.
  • A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Strong organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Excellent presentation skills and confidence in their knowledge.
