Overview

Grounds Maintenance Assistant – Swinton Estate

Flexible Hours – Thursday to Sunday 1pm-10pm

£13-£15 per hour plus tronc dependent on experience

Join us at the Swinton Estate, where natural beauty meets unforgettable experiences. Luminescence is our immersive light and sound journey, set within the stunning grounds of the Estate, and we are looking for dedicated Grounds Assistant to help bring this magical event to life.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the setup and maintenance of outdoor installations.
  • Assisting with lighting, pathway management, and visitor flow.
  • Managing parking for the event.
  • Ensuring the grounds are safe, clean, and well-presented at all times.
  • Providing a warm and helpful presence for guests.
  • Working flexibly across evenings and weekends during the event season.

We’re Looking For Someone Who Is

  • Enthusiastic, reliable, and happy working outdoors in all weathers.
  • A team player with a proactive and can-do attitude.
  • Comfortable with some physical tasks (e.g., lifting, carrying, setting up equipment).
  • Passionate about delivering excellent guest experiences.
  • Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.

Previous experience in grounds work, outdoor events, or hospitality is welcome but not essential – full training will be provided.
