Who we are: Swinton Estate is situated in the Yorkshire Dales and is one of the largest privately owned estates in England. Constantly developing, we boast Swinton Park, a luxury traditional castle hotel with 42 bedrooms, three holiday cottages and award-winning Samuel's Restaurant; a luxurious country club and spa including the contemporary Terrace Restaurant; Swinton Bivouac, a glamping site with tree lodges, yurts and café, and last but by no means least, the Swinton cookery school.
Duties include:
- Preparing food using ingredients from our 4-acre walled garden, the wider estate and other local producers.
- Working under the guidance of and reporting to our Executive Chef.
- Working with our team of highly skilled and motivated individuals.
- Running a section within the kitchen.
- Training and supervising junior members of the team.
Candidates should be:
- Experienced at Chef de Partie level in a busy kitchen environment.
- Guest focused.
- Highly motivated with a can-do attitude.
- Able to communicate effectively with team members.
- Focused on providing excellent customer service.
- Committed to a high standard of food delivery.
- Knowledgeable of health and safety, food safety and risk assessments.
- Qualified to Level 2 in food safety.
