Swindon Town Football Club is looking for a First Team Junior Physiotherapist / Sport Therapist to help deliver best-practice medical and physiotherapy services.
The Role
Working alongside the Lead First Team Physiotherapist and the interdisciplinary team, you will help safeguard player health, optimise availability and support injury prevention, assessment, rehabilitation and return-to-play.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose and treat players in line with current evidence and governing body standards
- Help implement individualised rehabilitation programmes and return-to-play processes
- Assist with musculoskeletal screening, pre-signing medicals and baseline testing
- Use testing data to monitor adaptations and support injury prevention
- Support matchday medical provision for First Team fixtures, home and away
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records
About You
- A degree in Physiotherapy or Sport Therapy
- Membership of HCPC, CSP, BASRaT or SST (or equivalent) and professional indemnity insurance
- ATMMiF (or non-FA equivalent), or able to complete it in the next few months
- Experience in elite sport, preferably football
- Strong IT skills, including medical data systems such as Teambuildr, VALD and GPS
- A full clean driving licence and flexibility with days, hours and locations
