Overview
In this role you will lead commissioning for Children Looked After services, driving transformation through needs assessments, market testing and competitive tender preparation. You will identify efficiencies and savings within pre-identified areas of children’s social care contracts, supporting a wider transformation programme. The position is fixed-term for one year, with potential extension, and focuses on delivering impact without people-management duties. You join a forward‑looking council with a clear plan to improve public services.
