Our client, a leading (and expanding) supplier of materials to the construction sector, has an exciting opportunity for a sales professional to join their established team at their Coventry site. You will be responsible for managing existing and new customers, ensuring first‑class customer service at all times. This is an ideal role for someone looking for their first or second step on the sales career ladder and a longer term desire to move into Field Sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing customer purchase orders
- Informing customers of deliveries
- Generating new tenders
- Introduction Letters (sending out introduction flyers and merchandise)
- Reporting (collating management information)
- Continually exploring new business opportunities as well as managing existing customers
- Arranging supplier and customer meetings
- Transport checks
The successful person will have:
- A positive, can‑do attitude and a willingness to learn
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Well organised with excellent attention to detail
- Minimum 12 months sales experience with a good understanding of the sales process
- Full Training will be provided - Graduates & sports enthusiasts welcome
- UK Driving Licence - Essential
- Degree or equivalent
Benefits / Key Information:
- £25,500 basic + company pension (when you progress into Field Sales you will get a company car and an attractive OTE in the region of £50,000 p.a.)
- Annual Leave: 24 days annual leave with statutory bank holidays
