The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 Β£ per year.
We are seeking a Rotating Equipment Engineer to provide support to the industrial gearbox and pump repair department by dismantling and assembling all types of rotating equipment whilst providing a detailed inspection report highlighting operational issues with the equipment being assessed.
Involvement in day-to-day workshop activities in relation to quality, health & safety, and environmental activities.
Responsibilities include:
- Assembling all types of rotating equipment accurately so they are ready for installation.
- Interpreting engineering data and documentation such as engineering drawings, technical data, and computer-generated programmes.
- Working under minimum supervision, taking responsibility for the quality and accuracy of the work undertaken.
- Selecting and using a range of measuring and testing equipment to check components are to the required quality and accuracy.
- Reading and interpreting engineering data.
An apprenticeship in an associated field or adequate experience is required. Health & safety, environmental, or quality training would be an advantage but not essential.
