SwimTrek is a leading specialist tour operator, creating unforgettable swimming holidays in some of the world’s most beautiful locations. From the Mediterranean to the Caribbean, our trips attract customers from all over the world who are passionate about travel, adventure and the outdoors. We’re a friendly, ambitious team based in Brighton, and we’re looking for a Marketing Executive to help us grow our global audience and inspire people to book their next swimming adventure.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Creating and optimising content for emails, website pages and social media, including text, images and video
- Assisting with marketing content and activities for SwimTrek partner organisations and sub-brands
- Supporting the planning and delivery of marketing campaigns across multiple channels
- Assisting with email marketing and customer communications
- Coordinating with internal teams to support product launches and promotions
- Helping maintain and improve website content and product pages
- Supporting day-to-day marketing administration and projects
- Assisting with customer retention and loyalty programmes, and the SwimTrek online store
- Assisting with events and partnership activities
- Nurturing and engaging with the SwimTrek community, especially on social media
About You:
We’re much more interested in attitude, curiosity and potential than a long CV. You might be:
- Someone with 1–2 years’ marketing experience looking for a broader, hands‑on role
- A recent graduate with a marketing (or related) degree
- In a commercial, digital, content, or customer‑focused role and looking to move into marketing
- Returning to work after time out (for example after caring responsibilities)
You’ll ideally have:
- Excellent writing skills, with the ability to adapt voice, tone and content to suit various audiences
- Excellent attention to detail and organisation
- A passion for travel, and some experience in the travel industry
- A strong interest in digital content
- Confidence working with data, spreadsheets or basic reporting
- A willingness to learn and get stuck in
- The ability to learn new skills, systems and tools quickly
- Marketing, copywriting or digital marketing certifications or qualifications
- Open water swimming experience
Experience with marketing technology, such as email marketing platforms, CMSs, or digital analytics is a bonus – but not essential.
Details:
- Full-time (37.5 hours a week)
- Salary: £28,000‑£32,000 depending on relevant experience
