Full Stack Developer & Technical Partner
Location: Flexible / Remote
Compensation: Competitive salary + meaningful equity
Commitment: Full-time
About Us
We’re a growing company with bold ambitions: to make swimming accessible, seamless, and enjoyable for everyone. Our platform connects swimmers with private pools in their area simplifying booking and management for individuals, instructors, and facilities alike.
Swimming should be stress-free, and so should finding where and when to do it. That’s why we’ve built a world-class digital product that makes the process smooth from end to end.
Until now, we’ve worked with external teams to get our apps off the ground. Now, it’s time to bring development in-house and find a technical partner. We\'re looking for a full stack developer who not only has the skills to build scalable, beautiful web and mobile apps, but also the vision and drive to grow with us.
If you’re ambitious, hands-on, and eager to help build the future of swimming tech in the UK (and beyond), we want to talk.
What You’ll Do
Own the full stack: Architect, develop, and maintain both web and mobile applications (front-end, back-end, APIs, cloud infrastructure).
Build for scale: Transition us from MVP to scalable, production-grade systems.
Be versatile: One week you may be setting up CI/CD pipelines, the next week debugging a front-end issue, the next designing a new API.
Lead technical decisions: Establish best practices, choose frameworks, and make architectural calls.
Work like a founder: Wear multiple hats, product, ops, and technical firefighting, while helping us grow into a world-class team.
Grow the team: Recruit, mentor, and lead developers as we expand.
What We’re Looking For
Proven full stack expertise with modern frameworks (React / React Native, Next.js, Node.js, Python, etc.) and databases (SQL & NoSQL).
Mobile development experience (native iOS/Android or cross-platform frameworks).
Cloud & DevOps fluency (AWS, GCP, or Azure; CI/CD; containerisation with Docker/Kubernetes).
Startup DNA: Comfortable with ambiguity, resourceful, scrappy, and ambitious.
Hands-on builder: Not just a strategist, you love rolling up your sleeves and shipping product.
Leadership potential: Ability to scale into CTO/Head of Engineering as the company grows.
Why Join Us?
Impact: You won’t just be “another developer”, you’ll be a foundational partner shaping the company’s future.
Ownership: Along with a competitive salary, we’re offering equity, because we want you invested in the mission, not just the paycheck.
Growth: As we scale, you’ll grow into a leadership role, building and leading the engineering team.
Mission-driven: Work on something that truly matters, with a team obsessed with building something great.
How to Apply
If you’re ready to build, own, and grow with us, we’d love to talk. Please send your CV, portfolio/GitHub, and a short note about why this opportunity excites you.
