About Swimbrite Swimming School
Swimbrite Swimming School is a leading independent swim school dedicated to helping swimmers of all ages develop confidence, water safety awareness, and lifelong swimming skills. We provide lessons for babies, children, and adults, with programmes ranging from Aquatots and Learn to Swim through to Rookie Lifesaving and private 1:1 lessons. Our mission is to deliver high-quality, enjoyable swimming lessons in a safe and supportive environment.
The Role
We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Swimming Instructors to join our growing team. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective swimming lessons, supporting swimmers' progression, and creating a positive learning experience for both swimmers and their families.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality swimming lessons in line with Swimbrite standards
- Create a safe, enjoyable, and supportive learning environment
- Support swimmers of varying ages and abilities
- Monitor and record swimmer progression
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers
- Promote water safety and confidence in the water
- Maintain high standards of professionalism and safeguarding at all times
Requirements
- STA Award or Certificate in Teaching Swimming, Swim England Qualification, or equivalent
- Current DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
- Understanding of safeguarding and child protection responsibilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for teaching swimming and helping swimmers achieve their goals
- Reliable, professional, and enthusiastic approach
- Experience teaching babies, children, or adults
- Rookie Lifeguard or Lifesaving experience
- National Rescue Award for Swimming Teachers and Coaches (NRASTC) or equivalent
