Clitheroe Dolphins Swimming Club in Lancashire is looking for an enthusiastic Swim Coach to join our coaching team. If you love the sport and enjoy inspiring others, this could be the perfect role for you. Clitheroe Dolphins is a thriving competitive swimming club that helps swimmers progress from their first lanes through county, regional and national levels. We nurture a driven yet friendly environment where hard work, respect and enjoyment go hand-in-hand.

Where we train: Training sessions are held at Edisford Pool and Stonyhurst College in Clitheroe.

What you’ll do:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, structured sessions for a range of ages and abilities.
  • Support swimmers to achieve their goals, from building confidence and good technique to excelling at competitions.
  • Promote the club’s ethos of teamwork, respect and enjoyment, while maintaining a safe, positive environment.

What we’re looking for:

  • A recognised swimming coaching qualification (Swim England Swimming Coach certificate/ASA Level 2 Coaching Award preferred, but an Assistant Swimming Coach Certificate/Level 1 Award or equivalent will be considered).
  • Strong communication skills and a positive, encouraging attitude.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and the well-being of all swimmers.
  • The right to work in the UK.
