Vision Redbridge Culture and Leisure (Vision RCL) in London is looking for an inspiring and organised Swim Club Development Manager to take the London Borough Redbridge Swim Club (LBRSC) to the next level. This role is part time for 24 hours per week.

As part of our Health and Wellbeing team, you will play a key leadership role in growing participation, enhancing performance, and shaping the future of our swimming club. You\’ll lead a team of coaches and volunteers, manage programme delivery, ensure financial sustainability, and build the club\’s reputation across all levels of competition.

Job requirements:

  • Lead the growth and development of LBRSC, increasing swimmer participation and income.
  • Design and manage high-quality competitive swim programmes across Vision RCL pools in collaboration with Centre Managers and General Managers.
  • Monitor and report on income and swimmer participation, ensuring consistent tracking of performance.
  • Manage budgets and staffing costs, ensuring all swim programmes are financially sustainable and efficiently staffed.
  • Oversee competitive progression, working closely with the Head Coach to support swimmers at all competition levels.
  • Develop a strong club ethos that motivates athletes and enhances the club\’s reputation as a centre of excellence.
  • A dynamic leader with proven experience managing swimming programmes.
  • Minimum Swim England Swimming Coach Certificate/ASA Level 2 Coaching Awardrequired.
  • Strong understanding of competitive swimming and athlete development pathways.
  • Excellent people management skills with the ability to inspire coaches, volunteers, and swimmers.
  • Financial and budget management experience.
  • Effective communicator who can work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, including Swim England.
