Responsibilities:

  • Sell a full suite of business telecoms and connectivity solutions, including FTTP, broadband, digital lines, VoIP/hosted telephony, leased lines, and mobile packages.
  • Conduct detailed telecom audits, reviewing usage, infrastructure, billing, and identifying areas for improvement or cost savings.
  • Build, manage, and convert your own pipeline from warm leads, referrals, and proactive outbound activity.
  • Manage the full sales cycle – qualification, solution design, provider comparison, proposal creation, and closing.
  • Guide clients through switching, onboarding, contract negotiations, and ongoing support.
  • Stay ahead of the market by maintaining strong knowledge of connectivity technologies, tariffs, digital voice migration, and provider offerings.
  • Keep CRM, compliance, and documentation accurate and up to date.
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell utilities services such as energy and water where relevant.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience selling telecoms and connectivity to UK small businesses (essential).
  • Strong knowledge of the UK SME telecoms market, especially FTTP, connectivity, digital lines, VoIP/SIP, and hosted solutions.
  • Good understanding of small business utility bills and experience helping customers reduce costs.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to present clear, commercially focused solutions.
  • A confident, professional telephone manner with exceptional rapport-building ability.
  • Ability to run telecom audits, interpret bills, analyse spend, and produce compelling proposals.
  • A results-driven attitude with a consistent track record of hitting and exceeding sales targets.
