The Role
We’re looking for an experienced Sales Director to take the reins of our sales floor on an initial 6-month contract. You’ll lead our Sales Team Leaders, energise the floor and drive performance across the team. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows how to get the best out of people in a high-volume, target-driven environment.
Requirements
- Lead, coach, and motivate Sales Team Leaders to consistently hit individual and team targets
- Own the energy and culture of the sales floor keeping morale high and performance higher
- Drive daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance through clear KPI management and accountability
- Monitor call quality, conversion rates, and pipeline activity, stepping in to course correct where needed
- Work closely with the senior leadership team to align floor activity with wider business goals
- Deliver regular team briefings, performance reviews, and one-to-ones that inspire and develop people
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience managing a contact centre or outbound/inbound sales floor at a senior level
- Strong track record of leading Sales Team Leaders and managing through others
- Deep understanding of metrics conversion rates, call quality, and SLAs
- Natural motivator who can energise a floor and create a high-performance culture
- Experience in utilities, telecoms, financial services or similar regulated sectors a strong advantage
