About Swift Switch
We’re a growing consultancy based in Shoreditch, helping businesses make smarter choices across energy, payments, telecoms, waste management and water. We pride ourselves on delivering excellent service, building long-term client relationships and developing high-performing sales professionals.
As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Sales Trainer & Coach to help take our sales teams to the next level. This is a hands-on role where you'll work directly with our consultants, delivering practical training, real-time coaching and ongoing development to help them build confidence, improve performance and achieve outstanding results.
The Role
We're looking for someone who loves developing people just as much as they love sales. This isn't a desk-based training role. You'll be working alongside the team every day, listening to calls, delivering practical coaching and providing the support and feedback our consultants need to perform at their best. You'll play a key role in driving sales performance, increasing conversions and helping our consultants develop into confident, high-performing multi-utility advisors.
Requirements
- Deliver daily one-to-one coaching and side-by-side call reviews with sales consultants
- Listen to live and recorded calls, providing practical feedback that improves performance
- Coach consultants on objection handling, conversation flow and consultative closing techniques
- Help consultants identify opportunities to cross-sell additional services including Water, Waste, Telecoms and Merchant Services
- Improve Trustpilot review performance by coaching consultants on how to confidently ask customers for reviews
- Work alongside the Dialler Manager to improve call quality, talk time and overall sales behaviours
- Support the onboarding and ongoing development of new starters
- Design, deliver and continuously improve training sessions, coaching materials and sales development programmes
What we're looking for:
- At least 2 years' experience coaching, mentoring or leading an outbound sales team
- Experience coaching or leading within a high-volume outbound sales environment. Experience within business utilities, telecoms, merchant services or a similar B2B sales environment is highly desirable
- Someone who enjoys being on the sales floor, supporting people in real time and helping them succeed
Benefits
- Salary: £35,000 to £40,000 basic
- Performance-linked commission based on team success and sales performance
- Autonomy to shape and develop our coaching programme as the business grows
- Shoreditch office with a lively, social culture
- Regular team events and nights out
- Extra time off at Christmas
- Free gym membership
- Ongoing training and development tailored to you
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:45am to 5:30pm (no weekends)
