Duties and responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic and paper records, ensuring compliance with data
  • protection regulations (such as GDPR).
  • β€’ Manage the storage and disposal of confidential information in accordance with company policies
  • and legal requirements.
  • β€’ Take and circulate minutes of meetings e. g. resident, relatives and staff meetings.
  • β€’ Deal with general correspondence and administrative matters as necessary
  • β€’ Deal with telephone queries as necessary
  • β€’ Attend discussions/meetings/trainings organised by the home and/or Head Office.
  • β€’ General filing, photocopying and organizations of systems.
  • β€’ Assist the Home Manager in preparing weekly and monthly reports as required locally and for head
  • office.
  • β€’ Promote a warm and welcoming environment for residents, families, and staff
  • β€’ Act as a point of contact during emergency situations, following established protocols and
  • procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of residents and staff.
  • β€’ Assist in the development and review of emergency response plans, conducting drills and training
  • exercises as require

Experience and qualifications

  • Demonstrable experience of
  • undertaking general administration
  • duties within a busy environment.
  • Administration experience in a
  • process driven environment.
  • Working knowledge of Recruitment
  • and selection procedures
  • Experience of minute taking

Experience with HR administration, payroll and book keeping.

Experience of administration work in a health care setting.

Qualifications

GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths.

A relevant administrative qualification e. g. AAT/RQF in administration
