Job
Purpose: Responsible for producing precision tools, dies, molds, jigs and fixtures used in the production of high quality components.
This role requires strong technical knowledge, manual machining expertise, and a keen eye for detail.
Main Duties and
Responsibilities: Manufacture, repair, and modify precision tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures to exact specifications.
Read an interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Operate and set up manual and CNC machinery, including milling machines, lathes and grinders.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of tools and molds to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with design and production teams to improve too efficiency and resolve technical issues.
Work with various materials, including steel, aluminium and composites, to achieve high tolerances.
Adhere to health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organised workspace.
