About the Role & Team
Disney’s Direct to Consumer (DTC) team oversees the Hulu and Disney+ streaming businesses within the Disney Entertainment division, helping to bring The Walt Disney Company’s best-in-class storytelling to fans and families everywhere. Disney’s Technical Account Management (TAM) team within the Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) organization is composed of industry thought leaders and innovators collaborating with partners across Disney+, ESPN, and Hulu. We serve as strategic allies for our partners, fostering strong, collaborative relationships that support Disney’s streaming product and technology initiatives worldwide.
We are seeking a Senior Technical Account Manager (TAM) to join the TAM team to support our regional Disney+ distribution partners in EMEA. The Senior TAM drives all technical aspects of Disney's partnership with distributors, by collaborating with business development, legal, finance, product, and engineering teams to onboard partners, promote the product offering, and develop and implement platform features to support distribution strategies. This role will be based in our London Hammersmith office, 4 days a week, with either a Monday or Friday working from home.

What You Will Do
- Cultivate and manage strong, positive, daily relationships with regional distribution third-party partners.
- Ensure the successful delivery of integrations and platform deployments.
- Effectively advocate for Disney’s DTC product and technology interests, educating partners and influencing their strategies.
- Identify new capabilities, features, and requirements across regional distribution partners, providing actionable recommendations to internal business, product, and technology teams.
- Collaborate with internal product and technology teams to identify challenges, blockers, and issues requiring resolution with third-party partners.
- Work closely with legal, sales, and business development teams to facilitate distribution deals that advance Disney’s product, technology, and strategic goals, including advising on and negotiating contractual terms for technical features.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in a technical account management or product management role.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or equivalent years of technical experience in product management, media, video streaming, or a related field.
- Proven track record working with third-party consumer electronics partners, middleware providers, SoC manufacturers, OEMs, and platform distribution partners.
- Exceptional customer relationship and account management skills, with the ability to influence and advocate for Disney’s product and technology initiatives, while uncovering and evaluating implementation requirements for internal teams.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, capable of distilling complex technical concepts into clear business impacts and vice versa.
- Skilled in identifying core business objectives and technical needs to drive successful launches and ongoing support for each distribution partner.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to investigate challenging issues, develop solutions, and deliver strategic recommendations to product, technology, business, and executive stakeholders.
- Extensive experience leading complex end-to-end technology integrations for digital media and streaming video solutions, including live and VOD platforms.
- In-depth knowledge of live and VOD streaming technology for OTT and Direct-to-Consumer services.
- Strong understanding of streaming media consumer electronics devices and platforms such as web, mobile, connected devices, living room devices, and set-top boxes.
- Experience with video streaming technologies, including playback, encoding, packaging, DRM, CDN, and related systems.
