As the Regional Application Engineer EMEA North, Rental, you will support rental partners, production companies, venues, and system engineers throughout the deployment of L‑Acoustics systems across touring, festival, corporate, theatre, and special event environments.
You will act as a trusted technical advisor while helping partners maximise the performance and value of their L‑Acoustics systems.
Responsibilities
- Technical Partner Support
- Support rental partners and productions with system design, deployment, optimisation, and troubleshooting.
- Provide advanced technical assistance for tours, festivals, corporate events, theatre productions, and special events.
- Leverage first‑hand field experience to provide guidance on load‑in/load‑out logistics, truck pack optimisation, and rental cabling strategies.
- Assist partners in adopting L‑Acoustics workflows, tools, and technologies.
- Support complex technical escalations and issue resolution.
- Show & Event Support
- Support strategic events, flagship productions, and high‑visibility deployments.
- Provide on‑site engineering support where appropriate.
- Validate system performance and deployment quality.
- Capture and share technical learnings across the organisation.
- Client & Partner Enablement
- Build and maintain relationships with rental providers, production companies, venues, and system engineers.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to partners and end users.
- Support customer adoption of L‑Acoustics best practices and workflows.

- Deliver technical training, workshops, demonstrations, and product showcases.

- Preferred Profile – Rental
- Minimum 7 years of experience in the professional audio industry.
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Engineering degree preferred.
- Extensive experience in professional sound system design, deployment, and operation within live events, touring, and rental environments.
- Experience designing, deploying, and optimising L‑Acoustics and third‑party audio systems.
- Experience supporting festivals, tours, corporate events, broadcast, and large‑scale live productions.
- Proven ability to lead deployment teams and provide technical guidance to engineers and technicians.
- Demonstrated experience with large‑scale audio system deployment and rigging coordination.
- Experience with electroacoustic measurement and system optimisation tools.
- Strong understanding of networked audio systems and IP networking fundamentals, including Milan-AVB, Dante, AES67, addressing, switching, and troubleshooting.
- Strong working knowledge of L‑Acoustics software including Soundvision and Network Manager (experience with L‑ISA Controller is advantageous).
- L‑Acoustics System Engineer and System Technician certifications preferred.
- Formal entertainment rigging training or certification (e. g., PLASA NRC, ETCP, or similar) is advantageous.
- Portfolio of relevant projects required.
- Willingness to travel extensively (50- 75%) when required.
- Professional proficiency in English; additional languages are advantageous.
