That's why we connect with our customers on a personal level, put them at ease, and provide fast, reliable repairs that get them back online quickly. We're looking for someone who is customer focused, hands-on, and confident working with smartphones, tablets and mobile devices in a fast-paced retail environment. This role suits someone who enjoys technology, has a strong eye for detail, and is comfortable carrying out high-quality device repairs while delivering great customer service. This role reports to the In-Store Manager.
Responsibilities
- You will play a key role in delivering high-quality repairs and excellent customer experiences.
- Repair smartphones and tablets, including screen replacements, battery replacements, camera repairs, charging issues and other common faults.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot device issues using your technical judgement.
- Provide clear advice and guidance to customers on repair options and solutions.
- Recommend suitable accessories and protection products.
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe workspace.
- Follow repair standards and safety guidelines at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience repairing smartphones and tablets, particularly brands such as Apple, Samsung and Google.
- Strong customer service skills with confidence speaking directly to customers.
- High attention to detail when handling devices, tools and small components.
- A genuine interest in mobile technology, gadgets and repairs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
Additional Preferred Skills
- Previous experience in a retail or customer-facing environment.
- Experience recommending products or upselling accessories.
- A willingness to learn and develop new repair techniques.
- A proactive attitude and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
