We are looking for an Integrations Developer to join our European Headquarters in Maidenhead or Droitwich. The developer will work alongside central IT teams across the UK and EMEA, designing and implementing integrations between systems, platforms, and applications. They are expert problem solvers with extensive programming skills and abilities in multiple coding languages and frameworks.
Day to Day Responsibilities
- Being primary internal technical support for custom, integrated business applications in various environments including Microsoft Windows and Linux.
- Supporting and developing business application integrations and queries in Windows and Linux environments hosting MS SQL Server, MS Integration Services, Reporting Services and MySQL.
- Development implemented in Python, Node.js, JavaScript, VBA and SQL amongst others.
- Developing and maintaining integrated systems.
- Tasks involve requirements gathering, system interface design, report design and database updates.
- Administering and supporting the installation, implementation, integration, and use of business applications.
- Analyzing user specifications and requirements for system integration and other development projects.
- Consistently creating and updating system documentation to keep support references current.
- Seeking out and implementing continuous improvement opportunities related to production support, source control, and change‑management processes.
- Active Agile Scrum development team member.
- Investigating new emerging applications and technologies and recommending how to utilize them in our environment; developing system integrations using EiPaaS, ETL Integration Platforms such as Informatica and/or Tibco Scribe.
Skills required
- Knowledge of the software development life-cycle.
- The desire to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to develop unit testing of code components or complete applications.
- Knowledge and experience of version control systems.
- Creativity is always a plus.
- Experience working on a variety of software development projects.
- Knowledge of multiple programming languages.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform would be a bonus.
