Your role
Corpay is looking to hire a Graduate Software Engineer on a permanent basis within our Alpha Group division.
This entry level role offers hands on experience while contributing to finance information systems.
The role reports to the Software Engineering Manager and collaborates across the division.

- Role Responsibilities
- Contribute to software development under guidance of experienced engineers.
- Write clean, maintainable, well documented code and seek feedback.
- Assist with testing, debugging and bug resolution.
- Participate in team discussions, stand ups and code reviews.
- Collaborate on project requirements and translate into technical tasks.
- Learn secure development practices and apply them.
- Support maintenance and improvement of software systems.
- Develop a basic understanding of cloud platforms, microservices architecture and database management.
- Contribute to technical documentation.
- Communicate progress and challenges with manager/mentor.
- Maintain records of investigations per internal policies and AML/CFT regulations.
- Identify suspicious activity and report where required.
- Collaborate with internal teams to validate alerts and elevate high risk cases.
Qualifications & Skills
- 2:1 degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related STEM field.
- Commercially aware mindset and interest in Fin Tech and finance.
- Knowledge of at least one programming language such as C# . NET, Type Script, React, or similar.
- Familiarity with web development concepts, APIs and databases.
- Basic understanding of software development processes.
- Willingness to learn and take feedback constructively.
- Strong attention to detail and clear, organized code.
- Effective communication and ability to ask questions.
- Curiosity, eagerness to learn and passion for finance technology.
