What you'll do
- As a Technical Delivery Manager at MUFG in London, you will be entrusted with leading the successful delivery of payments and transaction banking technology initiatives from inception through implementation.
- Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve orchestrating complex system integrations across multiple platforms, ranging from cash management systems to payments middleware, while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements such as SEPA Instant regulations.
- You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including developers, architects, infrastructure specialists, security experts, vendors, and business stakeholders.
- By consolidating progress updates from various sources and proactively identifying risks or dependencies early on, you will help maintain project momentum while safeguarding quality standards.
- In this highly visible role reporting directly to the CITB Head of Delivery, your expertise will drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance automation efficiency while fostering strong partnerships across global teams.
- Co-own the technology portion of overall project plans alongside Project Managers, ensuring seamless integration between business objectives and technical execution.
- Consolidate progress updates from internal technology teams, external vendors, and regional partners to maintain accurate end-to-end planning for all assigned projects.
- Drive technical design development by collaborating closely with Tech Leads, architects, platform owners, and infrastructure specialists to ensure timely delivery of robust solutions.
- Oversee software development lifecycle activities including development, testing, release management, and environment preparation on both daily and weekly cadences.
- Provide up-to-date information on releases, environments, designs, and testing status to Project Managers for precise project tracking.
- Lead test environment preparation activities such as data masking, access provisioning, connectivity setup, and coordination with test managers for SIT/UAT readiness.
- Act as the single point of contact for all technical matters related to assigned projects; structure comprehensive reports on release status, backlog items, environment health, and issue resolution.
- Prepare technical evidence required for audits and governance gates by maintaining detailed logs, review records, calculations, and security checks.
- Ensure operational resilience by connecting operational readiness processes with secure-by-design principles; confirm disaster recovery tests are completed successfully before production cutover.
- Monitor vendor task execution quality daily while managing offshore/onshore teams as a unified delivery line focused on achieving shared goals.
