Overview
We are looking for a Technical Application Specialist to join the Assured Build team, supporting delivery of secure, scalable platforms across LBG. The role involves ensuring security configurations in build artefacts and CI/CD pipelines, driving automation, and embedding security early in the engineering lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Assess systems against internal security frameworks, design, and baseline build requirements.
- Use DevOps tools and automation to improve security artefact review and approval.
- Partner with Cloud Security Engineers and platform teams to drive reuse and standardisation of security artefacts.
- Configure and support cloud security policies and portals.
- Evaluate impact of technology roadmap changes on security patterns and controls.
- Contribute to development and improvement of cyber security services, including processes, templates, and documentation.
- Identify improvement opportunities and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support delivery of change initiatives, working with project and programme teams where needed.
- Deliver practical, scalable solutions that meet customer and business needs.
Qualifications
- Strong technical foundation and ability to learn and adapt quickly.
- Outcome-focused approach, balancing delivery pace with quality and detail.
- Broad understanding of cyber security domains, including cloud security (Azure and/or GCP).
- Hands‑on technical experience, including ability to read and interpret code.
- Experience with security frameworks, CI/CD, and automation tools beneficial.
