Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain back‑end services, front‑end components, and RESTful APIs for the International Processing Engine (IPE) application.
  • Deliver complex development tasks and production fixes in line with client deadlines.
  • Contribute to code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge sharing across the team.
  • Create and maintain automated tests to support quality and regression coverage.
  • Apply secure coding practices, including validation, authentication, and authorization controls.
  • Support settlement‑related workflows including trade confirmations, reporting, books and records, and collateral management.
  • Contribute to the delivery of solutions across the securities trade lifecycle, including Debt, Equity, and Financing Transactions.

Requirements

  • 4 years of professional software development experience in Java, including Spring Boot and core Java.
  • Strong experience with service‑oriented or microservices‑based back‑end development.
  • Exposure to front‑end development and ability to contribute across the full stack.
  • Experience building and integrating RESTful APIs and working with large relational databases.
  • Experience working with systems that handle high data volumes and support real‑time processing.
  • Experience with tools such as MS SQL Server, Sybase, Git, Eclipse, IntelliJ, Visual Studio, JIRA, and Confluence.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

Preferred

  • Good understanding of the securities trade lifecycle, including Middle and Back Office processes.
  • Knowledge of settlements processing, trade confirmations, reporting, books and records, collateral management, and clearance/settlement workflows.
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, from requirements through testing and user acceptance.
  • Familiarity with SAFe Agile, containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation.

Work Environment

Hybrid role; teams collaborate in person as needed.

Full‑time Fixed‑Term Contract until 30 June 2027.
