PwC Consulting is recruiting Director‑level leaders to support business growth, with a focus on business integration using investment management, asset servicing, and front‑to‑back operating platforms across the Asset Management industry. The role involves developing senior client relationships, leading complex client engagements, and contributing to practice growth. PwC works closely with C‑suite leaders to deliver independent advice and transform front‑to‑back operations. The Asset & Wealth Management client base includes major global fund managers, service providers, and custodians, supported through innovative operating models that drive sustainable value, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
The successful candidate will bring deep experience in investment operations, operating model transformation, and implementation or integration of core platforms such as BlackRock Aladdin, Charles River, SimCorp, State Street Alpha, eFront, or comparable core platforms.
What Your Days Will Look Like
- Developing, owning and managing key client relationships
- Identifying key client needs/issues and developing and leading propositions which address these client issues
- Meeting and exceeding sales targets for core platform transformation, systems integration, operating model redesign, and managed services / outsourcing advisory within the Asset Management industry area

- Developing the careers of the teams working with and reporting to you
- Maintaining a consistently high and leading edge market profile
- Leading operational transformation change projects, taking the leadership role in mixed PwC/ client teams; the successful candidate will have a history and show a desire to continue to get stuck into delivery work rather than just focus on the sales and relationship side of the role

- Supporting clients through major change events such as platform replacement, outsourcing transitions, mergers and integrations, regulatory change, and operational resilience programmes

- Ability to shape and sell consulting propositions around platform modernisation, technology‑enabled operating model change, vendor selection, outsourcing strategy, data transformation, regulatory change, and operational efficiency
- Comfortable leading complex, multi‑disciplinary teams across strategy, operations, technology, data, risk, controls and change management
- Experience working with major investment management platform vendors, service providers, custodians, and technology partners across complex implementation or transformation programmes
- Experience implementing or advising on one or more core AWM platforms across front office, middle office, investment accounting, performance, data, reporting, private markets, or outsourcing models
- Experience with different delivery and operating models, including in‑house platforms, vendor‑hosted solutions, provider‑led models, outsourced middle/back‑office services, and hybrid operating models
- Deep understanding of the end‑to‑end AM operating model, as well as experience with process improvement
- Strong front to back functional and operational understanding of the role of all of the key players in the AWM value chain and across the lifecycle of a trade
- Knowledge of the asset classes and products that our clients typically invest in (Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives, private equity, real estate, etc.)
- Familiarity with other key systems and infrastructure used by Asset Management businesses across their front‑to‑back investment processes
