The company ensures client compliance with critical health and safety regulations, such as the FSO 2005, Legionella control (L8 guidelines), and industry standards like TR/19 and BSEN 15780. Services include ductwork and ventilation system cleaning, kitchen grease extractor cleaning, fire damper testing, water tank refurbishment, and grease trap maintenance. Swiftclean also offers tailored hygiene solutions for social housing ventilation systems, delivering professional and reliable service to meet customers’ safety and operational needs.
Role Description
This is a full‑time hybrid role based in Southend/ Basildon Area. The Duct Cleaning Operative will be responsible for being part of the team on site, cleaning and maintaining duct systems in compliance with TR/19 specifications, conducting fire damper function testing, and aiding in ventilation and hygiene safety.
Key tasks include:
- On‑site assessments
- Cleaning kitchen grease extractors
- Ensuring systems meet health and safety regulations
Qualifications
