Responsibilities
- The Access Cluster is looking for a highly skilled and motivated candidate to join the Web Platform squad (based in Belgium/London).
- Work on a product used by most top financial institutions in the world, key to the digital economy.
- Be part of a dynamic software development team where testing skills are crucial to delivering mission‑critical financial software following Agile methodologies.
- Undertake Testing/Automation/DevOps activities of medium to high complexity related to different software components and versions.
- Do development work related to software testing frameworks, focusing on quality, security, availability, resiliency, scalability, performance, and system resources consumption.
- Adhere to a structured testing environment and actively contribute to delivering software that meets quality expectations.
- Participate in the full cycle of new user story development: requirements review, solution design, implementation, testing plan, and development testing.
- Share team commitments and own parts of solutions.
- Perform software delivery tasks such as builds, installation of releases on test environments, etc.
- Take opportunities to improve the way the team works, the tools used, and the software produced.
- Collaborate with internal teams (developers, product owners) to identify system requirements, develop effective strategies and test plans.
- Work with cross‑functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Automate test cases using appropriate testing frameworks and tools to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Effectively use AI assistants during test design, automation, and testing activities.
- Create detailed, comprehensive, well‑structured test plans and test cases.
- Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using a bug tracking system, working closely with development teams for resolution.
- Support CI/CD‑integrated test execution and troubleshoot automation failures.
Qualifications
- Experience with Selenium test automation frameworks.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java or Python.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in testing and/or software development.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant computing field (IT, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Informatics).
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Open‑minded, solutions oriented, and a true team player gaining energy through collaboration.
- Ability to prioritize work independently based on business impact and urgency.
- Testing methodology certification (e.g., ISTQB) is an added advantage.
- Analytical mind and problem‑solving attitude.
- Proactive actions and positive attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks is an added advantage.
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal relations, sense of responsibility, commitment, and customer focus.
- Basic knowledge in functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
- Familiar with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, X‑Ray), Confluence.
- Agile mind‑set: continuous learning and improvement.

- Very good communication skills, including remote meeting setups.
- Test Automation framework: Selenium.
- Administration: test reports, Xray tests, designing test cases.
- Basic knowledge of POSIX and Windows commands.
- Development: basic Java knowledge.
- DevOps: Ansible, CI/CD Jenkins pipelines.
- Artificial Intelligence prompting.
- Strong communication skills in spoken and written English (mandatory).
- Ability to work with a team in an Agile environment.
- Adaptability and responsiveness to change.

- Git/Bitbucket: basic to good understanding.
