ABOUT US

We’re the world’s leading provider of secure financial messaging services, headquartered in Belgium. We are the way the world moves value – across borders, through cities and overseas. No other organization can address the scale, precision, pace and trust that this demands, and we’re proud to support the global economy. We’re unique too. We were established to find a better way for the global financial community to move value – a reliable, safe and secure approach that the community can trust, completely. We’re always striving to be better and are constantly evolving in an ever-changing landscape, without undermining that trust.

Five decades on, our vibrant community reflects the complexity and diversity of the financial ecosystem. We innovate diligently, test exhaustively, then implement fast. In a connected and exciting era, our mission has never been more relevant. Swift now has a presence in 200+ countries and legal territories to serve a community of more than 12,000 banks and financial institutions.

Context and Environment

Swift provides a global financial communications platform, standards, products, and services to over 11,000 customers in 215 countries and territories. Our employees are the foundation of this success. Swift has a unique corporate mind‑set, where diversity, personal development and networking are actively encouraged. We believe you will appreciate our office culture, which fosters excellence through collaboration and interaction in a community‑driven environment.

If you want to be part of our dynamic, multicultural institution with over 2,400 employees of 75 nationalities in 26 offices worldwide, explore the vast opportunities, rewards and internationally competitive packages waiting for you at Swift.

Standards are a cornerstone of the financial industry. They provide a common language for international financial messaging that is unambiguous and machine‑readable, enabling efficient automation, reducing costs and mitigating risks. Swift’s Standards and Market Infrastructures group develops financial messaging standards and supporting products and services for the community. The migration to ISO 20022, supporting richer and more structured data, is central to Swift’s strategy to enable an instant, frictionless, interoperable and inclusive future for payments. The need for applications and services supporting this standard is now more critical than ever.

Today is your opportunity to contribute to this evolution. The Test Sparring Partner (TSP), developed by the Standards Value-Added Services team, is a service that accelerates adoption of Swift solutions by giving customers a revolutionary way to test and validate their implementations before going live. TSP provides configurable test cases, guided execution flows and message‑level validation aligned with Swift rulebooks and product requirements, supporting product teams, professional services and customers with clear narratives, execution guidelines and operational configuration to ensure consistent, high‑quality onboarding and usage across the portfolio.

  • Create configurable test case definitions, including test case parameters and test flow definitions.
  • Design message mapping specifications for steps executed by TSP, defining how outbound messages are populated from test case parameters or prior messages in the flow.
  • Define message validation rules for steps executed by the Tester, verifying adherence to relevant rulebooks and specific test case conditions.
  • Co‑create and publish clear test case narratives and execution guidelines on the TSP portal.
  • Support Swift Professional Services and Support in resolving complex issues arising from customer use of TSP.
  • Partner with the TSP Product Owner and technical lead to shape TSP application architecture, the feature roadmap and the long‑term product vision.
