Team Swift is looking for a passionate and experienced Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer to join us during an exciting time in our industry! As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our suppliers can deliver products and services to the correct specifications, on time and with continuity of supply.
Collaborating with our Manufacturing, Logistics, Design, and Purchasing teams, you will work to identify root causes of any supplier quality issues and develop appropriate corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in a dynamic and challenging environment.
What a day in the life of a Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer looks like at Swift:
- Develop the supplier base to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
- Work with Logistics, Purchasing, Design, and Manufacturing to ensure supplier conformity to specifications.
- Ensure production and warranty returns are collected in a timely and economical manner.
- Identify root causes of quality problems and develop corrective actions with suppliers to prevent reoccurrence.
- Conduct supplier quality audits to ensure manufacturing conformance.
- Communicate supplier performance through the Swift Supplier performance system.
- Conduct internal audits in line with ISO 9001 and ISO45001 management systems and procedures.
Who are we looking for?
- HNC or equivalent in a technical discipline.
- 3 years or more experience in a Quality Engineering role.
- Demonstrated professional development and self-learning.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.
