Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship

Responsibilities

• Working towards the Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification
• Supporting children\’s learning and development through engaging activities
• Providing a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment
• Preparing and maintaining resources and learning spaces
• Supporting children\’s self-care and independence skills
• Assisting with the preparation of breakfast, snacks and afternoon tea
• Working effectively as part of the nursery team
• Following safeguarding policies and procedures at all times
• Promoting equality, diversity and inclusive practice
• Participating in required training, including Paediatric First Aid

Career Progression

On successful completion, you may progress into a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner role, with the potential for a permanent position within the nursery.

About the Apprenticeship

This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands‑on experience within a nursery setting while working towards your Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification.

You will be employed full‑time in a local nursery and supported throughout your apprenticeship by a dedicated setting mentor and Lead Support Coaches. Your taught sessions will take place online via remote delivery, which you must be fully available to attend.

Eligibility Requirements

• Hold GCSE Maths and English at Grade 4/C or above, or Functional Skills Level 2 (or equivalent)
• Have been resident in the UK for a minimum of three years
