Role description


Swift is hiring a Key Account Manager for the UK & Ireland Business Development team with a Payments Services Provider (PSP) / Fintech focus. This role will sit within London and provide a hybrid (minimum 2 days/week) work environment. We’re looking to find someone who has the passion and desire to drive deep engagement with the community. The individual will manage the relationships with some of Swift\\\'s largest and most strategic clients in the PSP and Fintech sector.


This position reports to the Head of Key Clients and will work closely with their peer Key Account Managers. The individual will be focused on building client relationships, driving a vision around critical initiatives, and driving adoption and utilisation of Swift’s solutions. Close collaboration with colleagues across the organisation to understand client needs and how Swift can enable clients to achieve their strategic goals will be key.


Key responsibilities



  • Be your client’s trusted advisor on all core Swift topics. Lead the end-to-end relationship from strategic initiatives to day-to-day opportunities/projects.

  • Establish a focused and well-organised approach to run your portfolio using account plans, regular business reviews and Salesforce.

  • Represent Swift and promote products and services to grow our business by participating in industry conferences, forums and meetings (may require occasional travel).

  • Develop a strong network across the PSP and FinTech sector, engage with industry bodies and ensure up to date knowledge of trends affecting the sector, forthcoming regulatory changes etc.

  • Identify customer needs and market opportunities and achieve business growth by building and maintaining long term customer relationships

  • Be the voice of your clients. Share market intelligence, customer feedback, product issues and other relevant information with internal partners.


What will make you successful?



  • Masters Degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience required, advanced degree preferred

  • 10+ years’ sales experience in the payments / PSP / FinTech ecosystem

  • Experience with Swift or other transaction technology/software companies

  • Knowledge of key players and stakeholders within the PSP / FinTech sector

  • Experience working with senior executives within major financial institutions

  • Strong communication skills – written, verbal and presentation

  • Ability to engage at multiple levels of an organisation

  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks
