About the Global Securities Team
The Global Securities team shapes and advances Swift’s Securities & FX business worldwide, delivering solutions that meet evolving needs of financial institutions and market infrastructures.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the definition and ongoing evolution of Swift’s strategic vision for Global Securities.
- Translate the vision into actionable strategic plans, milestones, and success measures.
- Drive execution across the organization, ensuring alignment between multiple internal stakeholders.
- Monitor strategic initiatives, identify risks, and recommend mitigation actions.
- Support the Head of Securities & FX Strategy on capital‑market priorities, requests, and governance engagements.
- Organise background material, build straw‑man proposals, and prepare content for executive forums, Board discussions, and industry interactions.
- Maintain deep relationships with ecosystem actors: custodians, buy‑side, sell‑side, FMIs, fintechs, and regulatory bodies.
- Act as a strategic ambassador for Swift’s Securities & FX work in industry forums, working groups, and conferences.
- Partner with Business Development teams to identify opportunities, customer needs, and market shifts affecting Global Securities.
- Provide strategic guidance for commercial engagements and value propositions, support account planning, and customer dialogue.
- Ensure cross‑functional coordination involving Strategy, Digital Assets, Business Development, Product, Communications, and other functions.
- Lead change initiatives that strengthen alignment and create structure for shared long‑term objectives.
