Key Responsibilities:
- Create presentations and reports on cyber security issues for executive leadership, boards of directors, customers and regulators.
- Maintain awareness of emerging threats and industry best practices in cyber security to continuously improve cyber security strategies and programs.
- Work closely with other members of the cyber security team, including incident responders, threat hunters, architects, engineers, and others to gather information and develop accurate and useful content.
- Act as the liaison between cybersecurity teams and regulatory bodies for inquiries and compliance assessments.
- Manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, information technology, risk management, legal studies, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity compliance, regulatory reporting, or a related field.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity regulations, frameworks, and standards (e.g., NIST CSF, ISO 27001, DORA, GDPR).
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Detail oriented, organized, self-motivated and able to work independently under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
- Experience in financial services, healthcare, or other highly regulated industries is highly regarded.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, ... is a plus.
