Cybersecurity Communications Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

• Create presentations and reports on cyber security issues for executive leadership, boards of directors, customers and regulators.
• Maintain awareness of emerging threats and industry best practices in cyber security to continuously improve cyber security strategies and programs.
• Work closely with other members of the cyber security team, including incident responders, threat hunters, architects, engineers, and others to gather information and develop accurate and useful content.
• Act as the liaison between cybersecurity teams and regulatory bodies for inquiries and compliance assessments.
• Manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, information technology, risk management, legal studies, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity compliance, regulatory reporting, or a related field.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity regulations, frameworks, and standards (e.g., NIST CSF, ISO 27001, DORA, GDPR).
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Detail oriented, organized, self-motivated and able to work independently under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
• Experience in financial services, healthcare, or other highly regulated industries is highly regarded.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, ... is a plus.
