We are seeking a motivated Business Administration Apprentice to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will provide day-to-day administrative assistance to the operations and business development teams. The focus is effective communication to both employers and learners, ensuring positive progress throughout the apprentice's journey at Swift. By assisting with daily logistics and administrative tasks, the current Business Development team can concentrate on direct sales activities, leading to increased enrolments.
Duties:
- Support operations by collecting employee comments, booking EPA prep days, and chasing outstanding signatures.
- Report learner absences promptly, handling sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Ensure timely attendance of learners on their scheduled class days.
- Gather marketing information from both learners and employers, including obtaining pictures from learners progressing from L2 to L3 and positive updates from employers.
- Format CVs in alignment with Swift branding standards (fonts, logos, spacing, and layout consistency) before sending to employers.
- Assist the BD team with outstanding signatures from employers on the final enrolment pack.
- Send reminder correspondence to new learners approaching their enrolment dates.
- Identify and gather potential business development leads for the BD team when interacting with employers.
- Support BS personnel in capturing relevant data for the Business Development team by adding names and email addresses to CRM systems – HubSpot and SAMS.
- Assist with catch-up day administration, ensuring follow-up emails are sent to both learners and employers and tracked on Excel.
The apprenticeship is 14 months long and you will gain key skills in business administration, including business fundamentals, compliance, communication, and professional skills. You will attend remote tutor-led training sessions, and build skills in the workplace with guidance from your Support Coach.
Qualifications:
- Grade 4 or above in English GCSE / Functional skills.
- Ability to contribute positively to a team environment.
- Confidence and professionalism on the phone.
- Ability to manage and prioritise tasks efficiently.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and addressing challenges.
