Pay: From £13.80 per hour Job description: Job Summary We are currently recruiting Warehouse Operatives / Handballers to support the smooth running of a busy warehouse. The successful candidates will be responsible for loading and unloading deliveries, handling materials, replenishing stock and ensuring goods are stored and moved safely and efficiently. Shift Patterns & Pay Rates Option 1: Rotating Shifts – Temp to Perm After 13 Weeks Candidates must be available to work both day and night shifts on a rotating 4-on, 4-off pattern. Day Shifts: 6am–6pm Monday–Friday: £13.80 per hour Saturday & Sunday: £14.69 per hour Night Shifts: 6pm–6am Monday–Friday: £15.23 per hour Saturday & Sunday: £16.14 per hour Option 2: Fixed Shifts – Temporary Position Fixed day or night shifts working a 4-on, 4-off pattern. Day Shifts: 6am–6pm Monday–Friday: £13.63 per hour Saturday & Sunday: £14.35 per hour Night Shifts: 6pm–6am Monday–Friday: £14.16 per hour Saturday & Sunday: £14.66 per hour Key Responsibilities Load and unload deliveries, moving goods and materials safely around the warehouse. Assist with shipping and receiving, checking incoming and outgoing goods and reporting any discrepancies. Carry out handballing and stock replenishment duties as required. Use a warehouse management system (WMS) to record stock movements and locate items. Safely lift and handle heavy items weighing up to 25kg. Maintain clean, tidy and organised storage and working areas. Requirements Previous warehouse experience is desirable. Ability to carry out heavy lifting, including handling items weighing up to 25kg. Experience in loading, unloading, handballing and stock replenishment.
